Private/Semi-Private lessons are available for hitting and pitching. Set up a customized session plan with our professional instructor Dave Zall. Develop a solid base of skills for on-field play, or refine your existing form and correct mechanical faults with personalized instruction. Our instructor has college level playing experience and has been on a National Championship roster. Single student sessions or groups are available.
Rates:
- $40 for one 30-minute session
- $175 for five 30-minute sessions
Dave has called Arizona home since moving from Southern California in 2014. In the last 8 years, he has brought a lifetime of baseball & softball coaching experience to Glendale/Deer Valley, the Prescott area, and now lives in the East Valley.
During Dave’s playing days, he was on the 1970 National Championship team at Cal State University– Northridge (CSUN). He was selected to the All West Coast Team as an outfielder in both 1970 & 1971 and elected to the CSUN Hall of Fame in 2009.
In 1997, after coaching his son’s Little League, Pony League & All-Star teams, he kept his baseball coaching dream alive right in his own backyard batting cage. What started as coaching friends soon turned to their teammates & teams. 3 years later ZallBall, an Indoor Batting Cage in Simi Valley, California, was born. ZallBall was open to Baseball & Softball players for hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and private instruction. Dave also directed a number of ZallBall baseball camps & coaching clinics each year. He also coached 3 travel teams that all played in Cooperstown.
In the past 20 years Dave has been providing individual hitting and pitching instruction ranging from T-Ball to College age players. He also coaches catchers & students new to the game for fielding 101. Over the years Dave has coached many players that have had remarkable college & MLB careers such as Curt Schilling, Jeff and Jared Weaver, Christian Yelich and recently drafted Nick Kahle.
Since being in Arizona, he has coached in Prescott Valley at Full Swing for the last 5 years. Prior to Full Swing he was coaching in Phoenix at Inside Pitch for 3 years.
